OUR VISION

Today we build a future where kids are safe from harm and abuse and have the opportunity to thrive.

We would like to see a future where all children and young people are provided with education, protection and support to be safe from abuse and risk of harm.

The Daniel Morcombe Foundation provides personal child safety education to children and young people to prevent abuse and promote lifelong health and wellbeing. We support educators, parents and carers through the provision of resources and education and also directly support young victims of crime.

Our Founders

Bruce Morcombe OAM

Founder

Our objectives in establishing the Daniel Morcombe Foundation are far reaching. We must protect our children. We can and will make a difference, ensuring that our communities are a safe place for them as it should be.

Denise Morcombe OAM

Founder

We have formed the Foundation not only to keep Daniel’s innocence alive and to honour our son, but to help other families from ever having this nightmare happen to them. Children are our future and must be protected.

Help continue Daniel’s legacy

Support child safety education, resources and programs that help keep children and young people safe.

Ambassadors

Kim Scubris

Kim is indebted to family, friends and mentors who’ve supported her through the good times, and challenging times, and who continue to love and guide her.

Her parents are her biggest champions, and she credits them for her unwavering sense of social justice, strong work ethic and “pay it forward” approach to life.

As a police reporter for much of her journalism career, Kim witnessed and shared stories exposing the very worst and the very best of humanity.

She is often asked, “Who is the most famous person you’ve interviewed?”. While Kim has sat down with world leaders and global stars in the entertainment, business and sporting worlds, it’s the everyday people doing extraordinary things who have a firm place in her heart.

People like Bruce and Denise Morcombe who’ve turned an unthinkable tragedy into a legacy, saving thousands of young lives and educating millions more.

Thank you

On behalf of our entire family, we thank everyone who has contributed to establishing the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and especially for never forgetting Daniel. Please support Daniel’s legacy in Keeping Kids Safe through the initiatives of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
